Prior the only MO record I listened to (and happened to enjoy) was Mean Everything To Nothing but after today's CBB I'm really enjoying their latest album.

 

Off Book is pretty great. I hope they can keep up the stellar guests.

 

I feel like it'll be super hard to book.

Now Boogie Monster is starting a Patreon. There goes another $4 a month from my bank account.

 

I'm cool with Patreons, but they only pod I feel does the model right isn't even a Patreon. Harmontown is $5 a month for ad free, and live video for every ep.

 

The video bonus is really nice. I don't mind supporting the creators directly either, but it all adds up after a while. Wish Patreon would offer a bundle package or a discount for subscribing to multiple podcasts or something.

 

I'm fine with patreon bonus pods as long as they don't effect the free episodes. I'll gladly pay for a bonus Boogie Monster episode (I haven't heard the episode yet, I assume it's a bonus episode?). I've been meaning to subscribe to the High and Mighty/Action Boys Pod as well.

 

Boogie Monster is talking about doing an extra episode a month (not weekly like most of the others) but they're also starting up "Dave's Cooking Show" - It's only $4 a month, so it's really not a big deal. But I already subscribe to two other shows ($5/month each) and was considering subscribing to 2 more. Just adds up after a while.

 

Only one a month is kind of a bummer but I've been paying 4 bucks for seeso for well over a year and I almost never use it so I can't complain.

 

Dave's Cooking Show is worth the $4 alone especially if he's doing it out of the van.

If I cancel a Patreon subscription and then resubscribe in 6 months, I can still go back and listen to everything I missed, right?

Through some weird timing/glitch I didn't pay for the first two months of the Doughboys Double but still got to listen. It was tight

 

Yeah, I thought there was some way around it... not that I want to cheat the system or anything. I absolutely want to give the podcasters my money, but I can't afford to give all of them $5 every month. I'm thinking I'll cancel one of the ones I subscribe to now and go to Boogie Monster for a little bit. Then I can switch back after a while. Spread the wealth.
