Cannot wait for the inevitable Doughboys episode, since Wiger has become an accomplished song writer

  3. Colin, weren't you just working at Max Fun and then like, one of their biggest shows just followed you here? Is that....fucked up?

I know this this thread is mostly podcasts and standup, but had anybody watched People Just Do Nothing on Netflix? One of my favorite new shows

  9. haven't heard of it. i'll check it out!

EDIT: apparently it started in 2014 and it's on the third season now. is each season related to each other? do you have to start at the very beginning in order to "get it" or can you just jump into random seasons/episodes?

In terms of character development, probably best to start from the beginning but each season is only 4-6 episodes. It won a BAFTA for best sitcom and is essentially like a Trailer Park Boys type mockumentary centered around a bunch of clueless guys running a pirate radio station in the U.K.
Might not be for everybody but I think it's extremely funny

  11. cool. i'll watch a couple episodes and see how it goes! thanks for the recommendation.

If you give it a go, I'd recommend subtitles as they can be pretty difficult to understand

You had me at Trailer Park Boys.

I've been meaning to check this show out, but now I'll put it at the top of the list.

I think you'll especially like it, a lot of the jokes loosely satirizing rap and grime

As long as the McElroy brother's episode airs first, I'm fine with no more @midnight.

Now let's get some new episodes of The High Court to take its place.

Has anyone listened to this new Dr. Katz podcast?

I used to the love show back in the day, but haven't had a chance to check it out yet.
