Watched Birbigs new one at it was great. The Muppets part killed me.

Also watched Hannibal Burress newest and didn't think it was funny really. I saw him a few years ago and he was great but that special just wasn't good to me

Ben Acker and Ben Blacker wrote a canonical Star Wars book coming out soon, in it they named a trading post Lund Gourley. They also named some stuff after Tony Thaxton and Mike Phirman.

I think he has a Christmas podcast or something, and fills in on NNF and is a DLM guest a lot.

 

Episode 3 of Crashing was so good! This show is great.

 

I watched all of crashing right now now, I like it but I don't like how total strangers suddenly love pete and change their lives to help him. I thought he'd be staying with like friends he made, its a weird shift of reality.

 

Catching up on CBBtv and man the Joe Jonas episode was extremely good

 

Holy crap this will probably one of the best CBB's of this year

 

From watching this and The Jim Gaffigan Show, it looks like it may be somewhat of a realistic portrayal of the stand up comedy world. By watching those two shows, it's pretty clear that there is just a respect between stand-up comics because although they may not know each other personally, they understand the grind, the struggle and the sacrifice. Even TJ Miller says in Episode 2, the job of the opener is to be a 'cool hang' so it seems they genuinely enjoy the camaraderie. TJ also says in Episode 3 how lonely it is to tour across the country. So, I think the stand-up comedy world is just everyone has each other's back no matter how well they actually know each other.
