I started the podcast from the beginning last may and now I'm on episode 119 so I should be all caught up in time for the fourth season of the TV show.

If anyone hasn't seen Monster Factory, do yourself a favor and check it out. The two Champions Online episodes they did recently were incredible.

 

I also just started listening to mbmbam. And now I feel like I really missed the boat because I don't listen to any podcasts but now I want to listen to all the ones talked about in here. (but am super intimidated by the massive amounts of material there is)

 

The Second Life trilogy of Monster Factory is a masterpiece.

 

I pretty much only live in the Doughboys thread now because that's all I wanna listen to.

What is Chapo Trap House and My brother my brother and me. Those seem like the two hot pods rn

Chapo is a politics podcast. Not sure about the other.

 

mbmbam is three brothers giving "advice" that is often terrible and hilarious, also answering some bizarre questions from yahoo answers

 

If you're into MBMBAM you should check out Important if True. Essentially the same kinda concept of pop culture, technology, video games etc and just interpreting them in absurd ways.

It's the new podcast from IdleThumbs if anyone is familiar with that one

Saw Pete Holmes at a restaurant lastnight. On my way out, I stopped and talked with him for a minute. Nicest (and tallest) dude!

 

Just pre ordered Todd Barry's book.

 

10 episodes in to MBMBAM and it's great, these are the McElroys I know and love (except for Travis who I'm far less familiar with).

 

The McElroys are the best.

Idk why but Tommy Middle D's characters are always very boring to me. I think he's hilarious out of character though.

Just bought tix to see Aparna Nancherla in April. Psyched.

 

Aparna is doing a week long residency about an hour from me at the end of May. Gonna try to make it to at least one show.

 

I think Aparna might be my favorite comedian right now, her show was really good a few months back in Chicago

 

I liked the Middleditch character more than Ben's, but they have such good chemistry it didn't really matter

Don't film in 20 degree weather
Don't write yourself as the person who puts their head in the guillotine.
