I wanted to watch it, but then I realized I've only ever heard of Todd Barry.

 

There's some good young comics, also some people that crash and burn pretty quick. The last two episodes are solid but they all have good moments

 

I recorded days 1-3 but didn't find day 4, but I saw Jeff Ross Roasts Criminals which was fucking amazing.

 

I just saw em all online, that final episode gets very intense

I didn't care for this show but I'd watch an episode if he's in it.

 

He's really good at roasts which was surprising, did not think his energy would translate so well

 

I really enjoyed Mike Lawrence in the first one, as well as Jimmy Carr. It's a fun little show, plus it's interesting to see Jeff Ross take on this weird fatherly figure role.

 

His crowd work show might as well be a roast, just not as cutthroat as the actual show. I'm really interested in seeing him on it now haha.

 

He's probably the most annoying part when he tries to sincere at like every ending, only a few of them are close but he drags out that last vote. Mike Lawrence vs Ralphie May last time was just complete dominance, such a beautiful take down

 

Haha the kool-aid man joke still kills me. I think Matthew Broussard was my favorite in Roast Battle 2, though I really did enjoy Todd Barry.

 

At the end, did one of the judges say something like, "It's like you were reading the jokes off a piece of paper"? His response was hilarious. I must have missed this most of round because that's the only part I remember.

 

Yes, and Carr replied something like, "I didn't find this important enough to memorize my jokes."

 

Anyone been watching Jeff & Some Aliens on Comedy Central? Stars Brett Gelman and last week's episode was probably the funniest so far

 

I loved when he was like, "Yes, that's exactly what's fucking happening."

 

I've been meaning to check it out, might try to marathon it one day

 

This show is significantly funnier than I thought it would be, it looked terrible but I've enjoyed every episode



Also I really enjoyed this season of Roast Battle actually, I really liked Matthew Broussard (?) who I hadn't heard of before

 

Jeff and Some Aliens is tight.

 

Jesus Christ, Alex Jones and Eddie Bravo were both on The Joe Rogan Experience, episode #911 (hmmmmm)

It was a hard listen, too much interrupting and high/drunk theorizing.

 

Yeah I actively avoid podcasts that give nazis a platform.

 

Gotta make time to check out the new Bill Burr special.
