Colour Revolt was an American rock band from Oxford, Mississippi. Their last album was "The Cradle," released in 2010.
I saw them live after The Cradle came out, and they were great. Good group of musicians. They played a really tight set.
Why have I slept on this band for so long? 8 Years came up on a playlist and I’m confused how this slipped by me.
Sorry to give this thread another bump but I miss this band so fucking much. Been playing them a lot lately. Their EP is easily one of my favorite EP's of all time. It blows my mind that Plunger, Beg and Curse is still growing on me after all these years. And The Cradle has some incredible songs on it. Sidenote: I just bought El Obo (Jesse's side project) on vinyl. Can't wait to get it and give it a spin. Apparently it's blue so stoked on that. Wish he released more music under El Obo. Oxford Basement Collection is such an underrated record.
I'm playing The Cradle bonus tracks on bandcamp at the moment. There's a few songs that didn't make it onto The Cradle. It's an interesting listen. The Cradle (Deluxe Edition) bonus tracks, by Colour Revolt
