Another one I've heard mostly no one talk about, but I'm excited enough for it that I decided to make an album thread. "You & I" is probably their best song yet

 

Wiki says they are playing Indie rock, but sound for me like bands from 60-70th.

 

This band is great, one of my favorite newer bands. "Silhouettes" is such a perfect song.

 

I hear that, especially in "You Know It". The album rollout has had a bunch of historical quotes and the whole aesthetic has looked kinda old timey, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's the direction this whole album went.

Their last album was such a jam. Excited to hear what they turn out in September.

 

Don't know how I missed this, very exciting. Their debut is so great. I'm interested to hear how they progress.

Spun this a few times today at work. It's got some great songs, but feels mostly front-heavy. I'm prepared to spend some time with it though! Glad to finally see it released.

 

Well I got through half of their first album and love it so far. If this new one is like it then I will really like it.

 

Really enjoying this. "Cannot Do This Alone" and "3:20" are the immediate highlights for me of the non-singles

 

Oh so I've seen them live before I guess haha. They were on Tour De Compadres 2015. I remember their set but didn't catch the band name. They had a good set. It's funny that I am just now checking them out.

 

Easily best album of the year so far! Jokes aside, it is great from start to finish. Halfway through it, I just stopped and realized its greatness. So many blah albums coming out nowadays.

 

I've been really jamming on "Cannot Do This Alone" and "1234". The latter especially follows a pretty simple structure, but man, it's such a fun tune.

 

I enjoyed this quite a bit. Also cool that it's Stephen Curtis Chapman's kids. I listened to him a lot when I younger.

 

I think I like the first one slightly better. Not for any particular reason, I find it slightly more memorable.
