History is by far my favorite subject, this History of the Middle East class has really reminded me of that. I also find it really easy but it being online helps a lot...I have one more class (Biology) and I have my associates, at this point I think I'm better off calling it quits after that tho. Unfortunately it'll be for transfer studies so idk what good that is, but idk how much good an associates can be anyway.
me too! what was your favorite area. mine was definitely Russian history. Also enjoyed all my middle east courses but most of those were poli sci.
I focused mainly on American history, probably should have done more global history in hindsight, there was one class that I don't remember exactly what it was but it was about like Creoles and New Orleans and that was fascinating
my next paper is due to be uploaded at noon tomorrow but i'm really banking on my professor not being a stickler about it he liked me and he's a new professor i think so i don't think he will be but im taking a way unnecessary risk here
Well, I just realized that some information for the essay that I need to write for Tuesday comes from class discussion that I wasn't paying attention to
I kind of get offended when people nearby me ask someone else to watch their stuff instead of me. It's just like, do I really look so much less trustworthy than the other stranger you're asking?
The general consensus which I agree with is that the physics final was quite difficult, especially because like 1/4 of the exam was stuff that we only covered in the last few weeks and didn't have much practice with. That's not good since I needed about a 75 to pass the class. Maybe he'll curve it nicely
Always hope for the curve! The curve is a hero to us all! My physics final is two weeks from Thursday and I am quite a bit concerned about it. I don't even know what I need to get to pass because my professor literally hasn't given back a single test yet. All I know is that I'm not doing well and no one else in the class is doing well, so... well, he can't fail all of us, right?
Paper is due in an hour. /System_Initiate... BEAST MODE Tbh, I don't have to do much. Just a closing paragraph and a works cited page, but I hate making those
I made a list of all the things that I have to do before the end of the semester because I thought it would make me feel better. It had the opposite of the intended effect.
Paper done and complete. Test tomorrow I’m not ready for. Then a presentation next week and more finals god end me
I'm feeling a lot of anxiety bc I never got any kind of notification or confirmation that I did in fact graduate and recieve a degree...last thing I knew, my test wasn't showing as completed and the advisor said she would keep me posted...now when I try to check graduation status it says that I'm non-degree seeking. Which would make sense in the sense that if I finished my degree, I'm no longer degree seeking. but idk i'm paranoid that something went wrong lol
Got home from school around 10pm. Had to decompress for a little bit before I start studying but god damn it is the last thing I want to do lol
So, I handed in a 14-page draft of a term paper about a week ago hoping that I would get it back with him saying that I just needed to maybe edit a few things, but was basically done with it. I get back his comments today and it goes "You're making excellent progress. However there are three issues I want you to consider" I mean, it's great that he accepts drafts and makes suggestions for improvement, but I'm not sure I have time to add even more to what is already a really long paper.
