Welp. I got home last night and fell asleep and then slept through my alarms so, guess I’m not turning in my project today after all! Ugh. @Mrplum5089 howd your hw go?
so I have a fairly lengthy paper due sunday that I didn't realize. Luckily it's easy and easy to bullshit but it's still time consuming. It's my first paper this semester and it made me realize how relaxed I've been for that reason.
At my school they have the option of taking of Calc 1 and 2 in either 2 semesters or 3 semesters (the 3 semesters obviously goes at a slower pace). My adviser last semester made it clear that taking the 3 semester sequence won't put us behind as the curriculum is designed to be able to do that. However, me and a few of my friends just found out that isn't true at all. If I want to graduate on time without taking summer classes I'd be taking 21 credits one semester (doable? probably, but I don't want that pain). So looks like I'll be taking calc 2 in the summer. I guess the good thing is I've already learned half of calc 2 from this semester so it shouldn't be too hard
tbh starting to think the idea of graduating "on time" (on time for what?) is overrated. like, I am drowning rn and it feels like my workload is crushing me for no good reason, but on the other hand there's like hella interesting classes to take. yknow??
Pretty sure I’ll be skipping class today because if I don’t, I will have zero time to study for my test in the morning as I go to work right after school. Hate dis shit.
My school is something like 80% commuter. My department does not give a shit. They are offering ZERO night classes this upcoming semester. I'm having to take a sociology class in place of an anthro class because they stink.
up early (lol early... it's 10:30...) to study for my biology test at 2 today. I'm kinda screwed but it's k
YO I'm up at 7 to study for my test at 11 that I'm not ready for. We in this together. I got home from work around 2 and planned to just stay up all night but ya boi passed out
hahah "to study" we both say, as we sit on chorus. I know I really need to, but I'm also like ok theres no way I can fail this THAT badly that it will effect my passing the class so at this point I can't bring myself to care too much. All I care about is passing and graduating next month
Yea that was the mentality I had in college. You go in with that mindset and sometimes you can get so into the project, you end up finishing it within a couple of days and don't have to worry about it any longer.
