Hopefully it’s like 80% of the classes I’ve ever taken where the text book is basically unnecessary haha
it's like a music theory class? it kind of is, but it definitely is a lot simpler to learn the foundations than a lot of those books make it seem! you got it dude.
Yea it's basically a theory class. Haven't been to school in over 5 years and I'm pretty nervous about not being able to understand it. I opened the book and my mind went crazy because I was instantly confused.
i wouldn't worry, it's like anything academic; repetition will get you through most of it and it'll eventually click, im sure. are you doing this for fun or are you going for like a theory degree or something?
I'm an aspiring music producer so it's kinda for fun. It's the only class I'm taking and I have free time at work to study so I plan to take advantage of that and really try to focus and learn.
1000% forgot I’m taking this boring linguistics class this semester. Blech. I don’t even know what it is lol. Guess I’ll find out tomorrow
Both, being an audio engineer and producing beats. But right now I'm focusing on the producing beats aspect first.
I've definitely had successful semesters with a nice balance of the two, its just a matter of finding the right "flow" for me. The past two years though have been a bit chaotic though, and I've had a hard time finding that sweet spot.
Graphic Design BFA, Visual Communication Design MFA (the terminal degree in the arts). I teach Visual Communication Design (fancy term for graphic design).
