Why did it take so long to come through? It’s nearly October

 

They waited a long time to tell me that some of the papers I handed in they couldn't read bc the ink was runny. And I handed the papers in on time but then on top of that they said it'd take 4 weeks to process so I wasn't gonna make the deadline and I had to pay out of pocket. :^) I love college

 

Y I K E S. That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard lol. It’s not all done electronically? I don’t think I actually handed in a single physical paper

 

Nope, had to hand in my parents tax returns physically. I mean, could've faxed it but I still had to get the physical papers to do so. It really fucked me over and in my parents eyes I looked like the irresponsible one bc I'm like the one handling shit. Really sucked having to scramble for more money in addition to what was in savings on top of what I had already spent on textbooks. Couldn't drop classes to make things cheaper bc if I have less hours than full time, I don't get my scholarship that makes it all worth lol

 

Lol, one of the papers I was stressing out that was due today got pushed back to next Monday

 

I have few enough classes each day and am less of a wreck that I was last year that each day school just feels like something I have to drop by and do and it doesn't dictate my life and it is awesome

 

i have like 3 classes a day tuesday and thursday and one class on wednesday that is like three hours so it always basically ends up being the vast majority of my day which sucks

 

tfw financial aid is deposited into your account and you don't have to choose between eating a meal or taking a bus to campus

 

the eating a meal thing is real as hell

 

I spent so many sleepless nights coding until 6am then sleeping until 7am lol.

So are you in a theology program or something like that? What is it regarding? I’m not religious but I grew up around religion so that stuff fascinates me
