Their live albums are absolutely tremendous and I expect no less from this.

 

Shoutout to Live 2003, the real MVP.

 

Gonna have to listen to that now.

 

Politik opener on Live 2003 where Chris lets out this scream to start the song gives me chills everytime!

 

Might be the definitive live version of that song now I think about it.

I am really excited about getting a high quality live version of "Up & Up". Maybe a few of the other underwhelming tracks from AHFOD will be improved live as well.

 

Live 2012 is so good. That's peak Coldplay right there.

 

Mylo Xyloto is 7 years old today

 

New documentary is good. Nothing earth-shattering but sort of reinvigorated my appreciation for the band. Hope they put out new music sooner rather than later.

 

Excited to watch it, I'm a sucker for these kinds of docs.

make a proper follow-up to viva already you cowards

 

and by "proper follow-up" I mean another record that sounds exactly like viva because it's far and away their best album.

 

I like this as a pop song, but yeah I'm ready for an album in the vein of their first few again.

 

I'm game for some new Coldplay, but woof, I did not like that at all. I generally think the results are bad when they team up with big pop stars.
