I really haven't either, which is a little odd because I thought a few of the songs on it were absolutely fantastic.

 

Only one outright skip-worthy track (you know which one). Easily a step in the right direction

 

I was not a fan of their last album at all, but I’m still excited and have high hopes for this.

 

I am a little nervous about some of the stuff I am reading on Reddit about a lot of different producers and collabs on this, which is basically everything I was hoping they would not do...

I do realize almost everything is unconfirmed and pure conjecture at this point, so I am trying to remain hopeful.

I am pretty excited about this whole thing. The chances of there not being a bunch of good songs across two albums have got to be pretty slim. No offense to whoever the hell Stargate is, but I hope they stayed far the hell away from the studio while they were making all of these songs.

To be honest, they're big enough now where they only need a few massive songs to add to the setlist. I'm excited regardless.

Orphans / Arabesque by Coldplay

 

The last minute of Arabesque absolutely SOARS and I LOVE IT.

 

wowow that ending on Arabesque. That felt like forever. So grand.

 

I like these. First one feels like classic Coldplay, second one sounds a little bolder, like something from one of the more experimental Iron & Wine albums. Feeling optimistic about this record.
