Guess I will be the one to do this. I honestly haven't kept up with the group in a few years, and even back in the day, I was never a superfan. I mostly just wanted to say one thing:

I really, really, really love "Speed of Sound." Wow. Talk about a clear songwriting peak for the group.

Parachutes and A Rush Of Blood to the head are in my top albums of all time. Would've loved to see them this summer but my friends didn't wanna see them because their too "wimpy". Whatever, they write spectacular songs.

Ghost Stories is the closest they've come to a complete album that I love but every album has at least one song I absolutely love.

Still the best live performance(s) I've seen to date.

Excited for 2017 dates. I had tickets to see them in July, but had to sell them unfortunately. I was under the impression they wouldn't tour again for a while so happy to see this.

Just found this thread. These guys are brilliant, and cop a lot of hate due to misconceptions.

Seeing them for the third time in a few weeks. Their live shows are so fucking good.

Yeah, I saw them in 2012 at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne. Best night ever. Seeing them again in just over two weeks too.

I go back to MX alot just for the memories too.

Back at Etihad again? I'm Allianz again.
I think I'm like you MX cause it reminds me of that tour

Yep, back at Etihad. Good weather, beers and Coldplay should make for another sick night.

Love this band. Minus X&Y and the last one, everything they've done - Viva especially - is greatness

I was surprised to learn that a lot of people do not like X&Y.

Only albums I like are Mylo and Head Full. But I really like those two.

X&Y's my favourite by them. I think it's more tied in with my memories of the album as opposed to the album as a whole. I reckon if it came out today it'd be a different story.

What If, White Shadows, Talk, Speed Of Sound, A Message, The Hardest Part and Swallowed In The Sea are all awesome in my book.

Yep! The Warnie part was funny for a bit of light banter. Show was incredible. You been yet, or are you tonight or tomorrow?

Thats so good! I laughed when I saw and then was impressed that he wasn't all that bad on it

Tomorrow night. I think triple m at least in Sydney are broadcasting tonight's show on the radio

I'm that pumped for tomorrow. Thinking of a double sickie as it's 37° and beach day of and after would go down a treat

Could be worth it. Mine was the Saturday night, so I was very dusty the next day.
