Really? That is sad. I like the new songs. They have always been a solid band and they are GREAT live. I will miss them.
I guess that is the smart safe way to go. Just rest on your past accomplishments and pick up a check instead of continuing to challenge themselves and create new stuff. Oh well. They put on a super fun show so, I will probably catch them down the road again at some point.
This means they still have three more albums to release (including one tomorrow). Or, to put it another way, they potentially still have a quarter of their studio album discography that most people have never heard. It's not like they're retiring this weekend. (And they could change their mind. It could be sooner, it could be later. This was probably said to make news and sell more copies of "Moon Music". Who knows. Just sayin'.)
