Coldplay to Release Double Album in November

    Coldplay will be releasing their new double album, Everyday Life, on November 22nd.

    It appears Coldplay may be announcing their new albums via letters to fans in the post!

    "We've been working on a thing called Everyday Life for 100 years

    ...You might write double album... One half is called Sunrise the other is called Sunset.

    It comes out 22 November"

    Excited for the roll out. They are fantastic at creating an identity and brand around each release. All of the subtle things they do with color, logo, stage design, is really impressive - especially a band their size.

    I disagree with the “double album” descriptor being used for this record. 16 tracks doesn’t deviate from the average LP.

    It sounds like there is a conceptual or thematic separation between two halves, but that calling it a “double album” sounds disingenuous.

    P.s.: This isn’t directed towards this post alone, everyone has used this terminology in articles re: the album’s announcement.
