i guess wiki hasn’t been updated/it’s probably a reflection of the new single but they’re listed as the highest amount of followers and streams on wiki lol
The Glastonbury set was amazing. Loved the new song followed by Arabesque. Can’t get enough of that sax.
We Pray sounds actually interesting and not like the 6/10 lead single Coldplay could write in their sleep. Intrigued.
Coldplay has 20 more million monthly listeners on Spotify Swift is tops for streaming, but for total concert attendance/per concert revenue I'm fairly certain its Coldplay
Love that they have British Sign Language in this video. It was cool to see Chris doing BSL during one of the songs at Glastonbury - shame the cameras kept cutting to the crowd.
Man, to be the lead singer of a band that big (probably biggest in the world), touring so much, having a stable relationship must be crazy hard.
Was kinda hoping they'd stick to their pattern of releasing a good album after a bad one, but I'm not too encouraged so far.
This new one has some good (if not, generic) ideas but it is not executed well at all. It sounded amazing at Glastonbury but a bit lifeless here. I think the first single was good though. The chorus still gets stuck in my head.
the only even remotely positive thing that I can say about this new song is that it retroactively makes me dislike the first single a tiny bit less
This is a great interview. Chris sounds like he's in a good place. It's funny how aware he is of how goofy he sounds sometimes and seems to be okay with it.
I don't expect this will win back the people who didn't like the last album, but I like it a lot for similar reasons. Doesn't overstay its welcome, flows incredibly well, super dynamic in terms of what they're doing from track to track, and 2-3 skyscraping highlights.
