X&Y is great, I feel like I remember reading in a thread somewhere here where everyone was hating on it lol

 

I’ve seen a lot of X&Y hate but I’ve loved it since day 1. Played it yesterday and I’m still into every song.

 

Aside from Fix You I don't really like X&Y that much.

Parachutes on vinyl is damn hard to beat though. It just feels right. Especially Sparks.

it’s crazy, with a band like this, I even forget how many incredible songs they have. I haven’t listened to Ghost Stories much since it came out, and until I saw O on so many of these lists, I forgot all about it! Great tune.

I also have to go back to the Prospekt’s March EP after the convo about the two versions of Life in Technicolor.

i’m fine with this. really as long as head full of dreams isn’t top half it’s fine. i could legit see any of my top 4 being #1. also, it’s coldplay, it’s not oasis/weezer/foo etc. lol. love them but i’m not that political about it.

rush of blood and parachutes feel their most similar. rush has more polish and experimentation but i feel the songwriting is just a notch below.

okay this one pisses me off

 

I feel more confident putting A Head Full of Dreams last than I feel about any other part of this ranking.

 

Viva is easily their best imo, I don’t really have a ranking in mind beyond that and I completely checked out after MX

 

ghost stories is incredibly cool writing from them imo. you can tell chris was going through it.
