basically confirming they'll have the longest set at WWWY? Also, I created a progressive metal/rock thread. Feel like most Coheed fans who enjoy related acts will have some input over there, so come join me. Progressive Metal/Rock Thread • forum.chorus.fm
Cross posting from the vinyl thread. Y’all probably know I’m not one for expensive variants when cheaper ones are available, so I’m selling this Coheed SSTB from Neverender SSTB (2011 I think?) along with the green 7”. I was asking $375 for both on other outlets, but I might throw a chorus discount in there, especially if you’re cool with F&F.
My guitar playing has always been rooted in Coheed, but I got an amp that is also a Bluetooth speaker and I’ve been playing along to stuff a lot lately. I just put on IKS and just let the album play and just try to figure out as many riffs as I can.
That album and the tabs on Cobalt & Calcium were foundational to me learning guitar too, it’s so fun to play
If you don't use the appropriate meme then Alec Guinness rises from his grave and beats you with a gaffi stick.
one of my least favorite tracks, haha. Claudio's vocals sound so flat an uninspired to me. Album does have about 6-7 bangers though. Two videos above, The Broken, Shattered Symphony, and In the Flame of Error are all great.
YotBR is certainly the only C&C album I don't go back to, but there are certainly some great songs on it. It just never gels as a whole...something that affects the Afterman as well
There is a lick in the chorus of that one that is so catchy that it's always in my head and makes me think I've heard something similar sounding somewhere else but I can never place it.
