weird they are playing the Fillmore in silver spring. they've definitely outgrown that venue, even for non major tours
When they first announced this tour in early 2020 I wasnt a big fan of NWFT. Now that it's finally happening 3 years later it's one of my favorite Coheed albums. See you in NYC!
I got my fiancee REALLY into Coheed through TWOTWM and she loved their tour last year. Gotta make this tour happen and show her the 80s glam-influenced Coheed!
You can pre-order a normal retail black vinyl on Amazon and other sites. I did just to make sure I get a copy of this damn record. Still will try for the variant tomorrow.
Interestingly, Amazon has this listed as “Best Seller, over 1k sold this week.” I’ve actually never seen that before.
Just put on SSTB. Y'all ever think about how wild it is to come out of the gates with Time Consumer? How many bands have a perfect song right out the gate on their first album? EDIT: I'm probably biased, but the album still SOUNDS amazing. I don't think I ever want a remaster of this one.
I love Time Consumer, don't get me wrong, but I wish the transition from the bridge into the final chorus hit harder. Just feels like that could not how to get from one to the other and went with the first thing that worked fine. Everything else about the song rules and it's definitely one of my favorite Coheed songs. This is just a small gripe of mine with the song.
Wait, like, the guitar noodling (I hesitate to say solo) right before the chorus? Never bothered me, but again, it's hard for me to think about these songs any other way.
Yeah if we're talking about transitions from bridge to final chorus, that one should be in the hall of fame.
I didn't realize for the longest time that a different drummer played on the recording of Delirium Trigger (and 33). I also can't stand the snare sound on Delirium Trigger, but that song is arguably my favorite from SSTB. It's either that or Everything Evil, of course
Grab onto my sleeve THE ONE THAT GRABS AT YOUR ANKLE!! I always forget why Claudio begins the album singing so breathy until that line hits haha
Well now I'm doing a discog run. This part in IKS still get me going. In the seventh turning hour, will the victims' shadow fall? Should the irony grow hungry With the victory and all they sought for We were one among the fence One among the fence
