Sorry if I derailed anything. I didn't mean to be the pessimist of the bunch.... I'm still DEFINITELY hyped for this album!!
I'm also a little taken aback by the 46 minute runtime. I'm going to guess that's an accurate runtime because every other release by the band on there is accurate. I've enjoyed both singles so far and am enthusiastically hopping onto the hype train, but wow, this album might be lean (in C&C terms).
It's a placeholder, the individual placeholders for each song on another leak site were around 3.5 minutes each which we know is incorrect. The date and runtime on this site are placeholders/incorrect
That is far and away their best album cover will never complain about a shorter album from them. I like the direction they’re seemingly taking for this record but I don’t think I could do a long album of it
46 minutes is too long all albums in 2022 should be 12 minute of all things I will soon grow tired -esque experiences
Yeah I must not have listened to the second single as much but I went back to it today and it fkin kills
I want more 3 minute songs and more 7 minute songs. That's why Good Apollo was so good, it was the variation. The reason Vaxis (as much as I love it) wears you down is because almost every song is 5.5 minutes long. Not a ton of variation in song length. EDIT: also I don't think the 46 minutes is real. I do think we'll be closer to 50 than 70 minutes though. This producer got Shoulders down to 3ish minutes, and Rise is what, 5.5? 13 songs? I'm going to guess the album will be 55 minutes long.
I was late to SSTB. Caught on with A Favor House Atlantic in the summer of 2004 and saw them at Warped at like 11:30 in the morning. I eagerly awaited Good Apollo THEN went back to SSTB. What a great debut!
Yeah i fully got into them with IKSSE3 but a friend of mine showed me Devil in Jersey City and Everything Evil before then and i was blown away by their sound.
I went to FYE when FFTTEOM came out after seeing the music video for Welcome Home, but they were sold out. I got this instead.
I think I heard "33" on an Equal Vision Records sampler. I liked it well enough to purchase SSTB at an FYE. Immediately loved it.
I bought IKS from Walmart and loved it and my first experience with SSTB was downloading Time Consumer, Devil in Jersey City, and Delirium Trigger on Limewire, along with some Shabutie songs. Simpler times.
