That’s what I’m assuming too. tho I’m just hopeful a majority of the pandemic is over by early May, and worst case they reschedule to Nov/Dec
Doing a revisit of some of their albums, and it's hard to imagine they'll ever top GA. Everything about that albums hits so perfect, from the production, songwriting, melodies. To me, it's a perfect album. Listening to Vaxis now, and it seems very clear they were trying to recapture that magic, and it comes really close and it's still really good, but GA was just an insane beast of an album.
Seriously think that with some tweaking, that Prize Fighter Inferno song can be a pretty big hit actually
I get that sentiment, but the raw energy of IKS and SSTB definitely add to their charm. Signing to a major label for GA right at the time they were ready to really embrace the big production and add more prog to their sound seems like a "stars aligning" moment.
Absolutely. IKS's relatively straightforward production really benefits the songs as they had to rely on the guitars to act as counter-melodies to the vocals. I can't think of many other albums where I can recite the guitar-work just as easily as the vocals lol
It sounds like he literally just released the audio of the Instagram live video, which I don't get lol
my favorite part about Claudio is that he writes lyrics that would be just so corny if anyone else was singing them but bc it’s him I’m just like “this is the best song ever thank you Claudio”
This has me revisiting Prize Fighter and of course My Brother’s Blood Machine is still great but what a fucking song Half Measures is
