As for Chon, “Homey” is real good. Hit the right spot for me at the right time. Their newest seemed to all blend together. Can’t speak for the older stuff. BTW, coming from a Coheed fan since IKS, Vaxis is my least favorite.
i love chon, and am stoked to see them touring with coheed, i will agree that chon's latest album was a little boring though. and also, the fact that the YOTBR producer made coheed cut two of the best songs from the record.... i'll never forgive him.
Trying to remember off the top of my head..... Chamberlain and another song i'm blanking on? I don't remember how they sound but I remember not being impressed.
My buddy bought our pre sale tix for the Oakland date! Soooo excited. Haven’t been to a show since La Dispute/Gouge Away last May.
I’ll always have mixed feelings on YOTBR. Me, and my buddy both picked it up, and we’re texting each other after every song. I think we were both partied up in CoD, and when Guns of Summer ended we we’re both very surprised how different they sounded. I also was going through a tough break up at the time, and Pearl really hit me. it’s a fine album, but yeah the mix/production is just meh. Songs like In The Flame of Error, and This Shattered Symphony should sound huge. Though they’re held back.
I love YotBR. I don't understand the hate. There's far more variety on there than NWFT. The Broken needs to get more set time.
The Broken really does translate well live. First time I saw them was on the YotBR tour and 16 year old me lost my shit when they came out to that song.
yeah that song is so good. Claudio writes my favorite vocal melodies ever. really hope this means we're getting more PFI stuff
No news yet. It starts in early May and other things around that time have been canceled/rescheduled so it's possible that that's what has to end up happening to the first part of the tour.
