I shazammed the first few seconds of the YT video just for fun and it registered as "'The Dark Sentencer' Album Prologue". Seems like a fairly safe bet that's what the album title is going to be

 

Yeah, I know I said earlier that I thought that might be the title too, but I really hope they incorporate V somehow, since this is continuing off of Good Apollo IV: I and II. That’s probably just what the single name is, which is what Shazam is registering.

This is unreal. Also, it sounds very inspired by current events.

 

Yeah. The Amory Wars was always inspired by true events in Claudio's life, but this one seems more about current events and less about his personal relationships, at least what we know so far. Privatized prisons? This song also seems like a direct shot at Trump.

As much as I love Good Apollo Volume One, I never understood why he chose do the whole breaking the 4th wall/meta thing with the Writer rather than staying completely in the story. I still love the hell out of that album tho

 

I think he wanted to find a way to write a really hateful album directed towards a woman and still have it be part of The Amory Wars.

Yeah, I don't know if I could support an album with those type of lyrics if it came out today. I think it helps to know that Chondra and Claudio ended up together, otherwise...

 

As others have said: Because that's literally what was happening to him at the time.
He'd just had a break up and couldn't figure out how to continue the story as planned with the character he'd based on her still in it.
