I dunno how you can hate on that song, no idea what Claudio is doing here but I think that’s the point, Josh’s drumming rips, what a weird blast of a tune Gimme this over a damp fart like You Got Spirit Kid any day
Really digging the new song! Takes me back to when Foo Fighters released White Limo. I can’t wait to hear what comes next for these guys. Their last two albums are so freaking good.
The full GA playthrough at Furnace Fest was something I needed to check off my bucket list. Fantastic time. They encored with AFHA and IKS, they definitely knew their audience this weekend.
New song is fun, chorus is an earworm. Very, very excited for Vaxis III, these albums have fully reignited my interest in this band after falling off for years with YotBR. I see the Afterman albums as essential now too, can't believe I would've missed out on them if Vaxis didn't rope me back in. Let's go
I get the frustration though, because I’m guessing they only did it at FF as a warm up for WWWY. It’s gotta be frustrating to rehearse in a way that’s not how the festival performance will go.
Idk I’ve always disliked festivals for that exact reason. It’s a catch all for other fans whom don’t have the patience or interest in enjoying other acts
Unlikely to actively choose to listen to the new single again but would be fine during an album playthrough and Coheed have such a strong, consistent catalogue that I'm not concerned about the quality of the next album at all even with this as the first single.
As of recent days Welcome Home has been certified platinum and The Suffering and A Favor House Atlantic certified gold.
It is, it's the first track for the rollout and sonny is a character in this volume. Album around the top of 25
