Since it’s the same day as the first NWFT issue being released, I wonder if it might be a one-off single that ties in to that part of the storyline? Either way….HYPED.

I don't know if this is the first entry of Vaxis 3. Almost sounds like it could be another Batman single. I like it either way

I mean this with the utmost respect, but this sounds like a b-side to their last album. I hope it’s a one-off release because the song does nothing for me.

 

Kind of wild with that guitar run in the second verse and the djenty sounding verse riff. Chorus is fine. Definitely a variation of a A Disappearing Act-type song.

 

I'm digging the song. Sounds like it could easily slot in on Vaxis II somewhere (looking at you "Blood").

 

Listening to the Afterman albums for maybe the first time today (certainly the first time since they came out). The horns on "Number City" are so much fun.

 

I could have probably only done with the eerie minor scale guitar thing like one time. It repeats way too much for me. Dig the rest though

Probably a B-side and re-recording of Deranged as a little EP to hold over for Vaxis 3 (Travis said they're supposed to start recording in the next few weeks). Makes sense to drop this with NWFT issue 1 coming out

 

Fuck me. Can't believe Deranged came out 13 years ago already.

 

A Deranged re-record should be interesting, everyone is clamoring for a YOTBR remaster, so I'd love to hear that style modernized. I think it would also confirm this is somehow related to Joker/Batman since Deranged was for the Arkham City game.
