Arm’s Length opening for Coheed?! My fourth favorite band is getting bigger this year. I’m so happy for them.

No NYC/LI date again. Makes no sense since that’s where they’re based, cmon

Yeah boi, see ya at Avondale. Narrow Head is a sick opener.

I may or may not go to the Avondale show. I’ll decide as it gets closer. Saw them on this album cycle already and their setlist never strays too far from their norm.

I STILL haven't listened to the extra songs they put out last year.

Peter the Wishing is great. The others range from okay to pretty good.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

Peter is one of their best post GAIV songs

I think Melvin the Mistake and Shiloh the Selfish are really great songs. Peter is good. Yuko is pretty meh.

Been on a Coheed kick lately. Today I listened to the two Afterman albums, The Color Before The Sun, and Unheavenly Creatures, and I'm just here to say what a great fucking band. Not every song lands, but when they nail it, they fucking nail it.

Also, The Road And The Damned from No World is such a firebomb of a track.

I think the title track to Unheavenly Creatures is one of their most underrated songs

I really don't like that song lol, the keys sound so cheap and tacky. banger album though

Agreed. Close to the top of my least favorite Coheed songs. Claudio has talked in interviews about recording vocals in their apartment and experimenting with a softer whisper/shout thing, and it pops up a lot on TUC and I am not a fan. This song is the worst offender though, by also... not being a good song.

I was just thinking that hook sounds like he was recording in an apartment and trying not to wake up his neighbours lmao. it's a catchy chorus but not well recorded
