Colin is on fucking cloud nine the entire time, I love it. Especially the part when Claudio explains the Crowing breakdown.

 

His face when Claudio first picks up the guitar is truly like a kid in a candy shop, hahaha

 

It was cool to see Claudio kind of geek out. I feel like I've never seen that side of Claudio in an interview before.

Claudio just riffing on the spot was so sick. I'm sure it was a Hardlore highlight for Colin for sure.

 

Easily the best interview I've ever heard w Claudio, refreshing to hear him geek out with guys who are well versed in the band and most importantly all aspects of the band, not just 7 min guitar solos

How tf is this my first time hearing that Claudio wrote The Running Free for Transformers and The Road and the Damned for the Nic Cage Ghost Rider movie??

 

This is top tier meme material. Colin's dry sense of humor kept catching Claudio off guard, haha.

 

So stoked to watch the Hardlore interview.

 

When he explained the riff in Running Free as the sound Transformers make when they transform, my mind was blown. I'll never hear that song the same.

 

I’m not trying to be a dick but the only thing I know about that podcast is the one guy who always wears those types of shirts. Didn’t know they were good or bad. I’ll check em out

 

Yo I just saw a live acoustic performance of Here We Are Juggernaut that I didn’t even know existed. It was transcendent.

 

I think I knew that about The Running Free, but not The Road and the Damned.

I love how much Claudio goes to bat for Gravity’s Union, and ever since it’s been released it’s been one of my favorite songs ever. It was interesting to hear him mention it was the demo vocal take that made it in the album because of the personality it brought. It is super raw, so it makes sense, but cool to hear him say it outright. It was also really sweet how he said writing and finishing Gravity’s Union made him think to reach out to Josh and basically say, “I want you back in if you want this”.

I also had ZERO idea there was an Obituary album called The End Complete that Claudio confirmed that he nodded to it.
