I’m willing to give everything a fair chance. It took everything in me to not buy like every single book/graphic novel they had at the merch table

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

YOTBR would’ve been a great EP

also the production just absolutely does not work for those songs at all. They translate great live but on record it’s such a mess.

I dream of a remixed YOTBR with finished versions of Hush and those other 2 demos. it will never happen

Far and The Black Rainbow are my jams. The vinyl, alongside the Afterman albums are my white whales.

I know the end of Peter the Wishing is distorted on the last repeat, but I think I hear a lyric change there.

"I want everyone to stay around always
    Hold onto me forever
    To wherever we go.
    ....
I want everyone to stay around always
    Hold onto me together
    To forever we go"

    Am I just hearing things?

obsessed with this album again, I can tell because "tiiiime lost the key that unlocks the beat to my heart" has been looping in my head all day

We reach for the longest shadow

It's still crazy to me that they had a "The Flood" in them this late in their career. Insane song.

The Flood followed directly by Tethered Together is a fucking amazing one two punch.

Im probably the biggest hater of YOTBR on the internet. theres a reason they hardly every play any of those songs live. TCBTS is pretty skippable too. But, my man, go listen to Afterman through Vaxis. incredible run. i have some small quibbles with those albums, but goddamn, theyre all great.

    LIVER ALONE!

Just saw a funny Cobalt & Calcium post about the bonus tracks:

"Coheed got me out here saying I'm down with Shiloh the sensitive and Melvin the majestic. These titles... lmao. Hey bro you gotta check this banger out, its called MELVIN."

Oh... on FB. I thought the actual forum might still be active. I try to stay off of FB, even though some forums like that would be cool to have again.

My height of interest in the story was when it was shrouded in so much mystery, and all I had were theories on there in the Supporter Only forum.

Peter the Wishing has made its way up there with my all-time favourite songs by this band

"I want everyone to stay around always" instant goosebumps material every damn time

Really enjoyed their last episode talking about the actual cruise since they were on it, not specifically a Coheed episode but it was neat hearing about the experience. Sounds like this will be a fun episode, these guys have a lot of respect for Claudio.
