You’re not picking a lyric from the Gutter unless you’re a fan lol, that’s cool!

Right?! This collab was definitely not in my bingo list and now I can't stop listening to it.

Gareth playing it live....love how chill it was before the beat dropped and then the lasers go crazy....I would have been super hyped hearing this live

Hell yes, they've announced a Euro tour. More precisely, they'll be in Manchester a week before my birthday. It's a sign!

Reggae version with Nick Hexum from 311. Seems like a missed opportunity to not release this in the middle of summer.

We reach for the longest shadow

Tethered Together is so good, and Zack is going crazy on it. Would love to see a playthrough video on that one.

Listened through the album for the first time in a month or two. It's pretty much perfect for what modern Coheed is. The songs are great and the pacing is perfect. I think time will be very kind to this one in the long run.

I just saw these guys for the first time ever after years of wanting to but never being able to make it and it was so fucking good, they sounded amazing, the visuals were sick and the setlist was pretty much perfect for a first time show (although I would have preferred something like The Running Free over the random Mr. Brightside cover lol)

Agree they really should not be using a space for a cover, let alone that one.

Saw them in 2022 and it was euphoric at times. They really are an exceptionally talented group. Not that everyone needs to be able to shred but when a band can actually sing and play well and actually improve with age it really shows where talent lies.

Ha, yeah I agree on your last point. Their discog is too deep to be doing that. I would've rather had basically any of their back catalog than Mother at the last show I went to.

Yeah I’m actually not sure I realized how much lead guitar Claudio plays, he plays some insanely complex parts while singing which blew me away, and his solos were amazing too

I felt the same way about the cover, too.

Our Toronto set got cut short due to weather and they only got to play 2 of the 4 encore songs, and I was pretty bummed they chose Mr. Brightside over the MASSIVE tune from the new album they were playing every night.

(And we still got Welcome Home of course.)

The band seems to have fun covering it so that's important but man, a Sabbath cover would've gone harder there haha.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

I'm definitely over them playing covers every tour now when the sets are 15-16 songs only.

Also was at Toronto. Also extremely bummed we didn't get Tethered Together, we left when they said they had to cut the set and started playing Mr. Brightside to beat the traffic. I'm still a little confused why it got called for weather, when it was just rain, and Oasis kept playing without a hitch.

The fact that this album is basically Afterman Part 3 makes me believe they're going to rerelease the vinyl of the first two albums or maybe packaged as the Deluxe edition. It definitely needs it.

Knowing how much Claudio cares about story, I'm sure he knows there's new fans who now want to own the parts of the story that this is connected to. And it got such a SMALL limited release when it originally came out so now is a perfect time to reintroduce the Afterman albums and Sirius' story.

Really cool set, but releasing a boxset of just the first four seems odd. If they include YOTBR they could call it The Amory Wars boxset. This feels a little like repackaging stuff that's kind of readily available.

Listen to the last 4 songs.....The Flood and Tethered Together fucking sold me but the flow of the four Continuum songs is great.

The last 4 songs is where the album kind of looses me. And I love a good Coheed suite of songs to close an album. I don't LOVE the album, but I Iike it.

The Vaxis albums are hard to place if I try to place them in my favorites list if coheed albums.....they're not great as a whole but the high points by themselves are amongst the top coheed moments.

I do have to place Vaxis 3 ahead of the first two though.....the second album did absolutely nothing for me.
