How much (ballpark) out of pocket does it cost? What does the funding look like

Their most successful “heavy” moment imo

the one-two punch of Blind Side Sonny / Play The Poet is not something I expected from them, but I really think it's a fantastic section of the album and really cool to hear them play like that

This may be the most I've liked a Coheed album since 2007.

    I think I’m in the vast minority thinking vaxis 1 > 2 > 3 but I still like this a lot

    2 > 3 > 1 but we're splitting hairs at this point, they're all so good

This is where I'm at. But 1 & 2 are pretty close.

Not sure where 1 and 3 fall at the moment but 2 is still my favorite Vaxis album

I’m 2>3>1 right now but I could see 3 taking the top spot with time

    1 > 2 > 3 for me

After a few listens I think I just like the new record, but not a ton of it really hits

probably mid-low tier coheed for me sadly, but still not a bad record by any means

I'm thinking 3>2>1. 1 would be in the lead easily if every single song didn't have too many choruses.

1 is easily my favorite of the three. 2 has higher highs than 3 for me, but 3 has better consistency than 2 so I could go either way

Vaxis 2 and 3 lack the epic track 2 that the majority of their albums have, I dock points for that.

Claudio’s knack for writing memorable hooks this far into their career is one of my favorite things about this stage of Coheed

Gimme light, gimme love, gimme fire

This is my first Coheed album as a married man and that may be influencing this, but “Corner My Confidence” is now my favorite Coheed ballad.

That’s one I didn’t have involvement in. We did UFC, Eagles, a couple of the private corporate concerts, and a couple upcoming

We reach for the longest shadow

I thought Beautiful Losers was a wonderfully executed soaring opener that was pretty different for them. It’s a little bit of a nitpick for me, but Goodbye Sunshine feels like they tried to do the same thing as Beautiful Losers, but it’s a little clunkier for me.

I have a hard time ranking the three. Vaxis I is Coheed doing Coheed stuff well, Vaxis II introduced a lot of new stuff, mostly around making things poppier and more synth-y but with great energy, and Vaxis III feels like the midpoint between the two.

My vinyl landed today in just outside of LA, and was supposed to be delivered today, but got delayed due to weather? What, was it too nice of a day the mail guys just decided to go to the pub instead?
