Meri of Mercy and Someone Who Can were the two standout tracks for me after my first listen

On my second spin, and the run "One Last Miracle - Corner My Confidence - Someone Who Can" is just so wonderful.

For me, the 3 Vaxis have been like the 3 little bears story:
    - Vaxis 1: oh, this is too lonnng
    - Vaxis 2: oh this is too tight and short
    - Vaxis 3: oh this is jusssst right AND has the classic CC suite

Hahahaha Continuum I starting off with that robot voice thing and into that riff was so nerdy and I'm here for it.

May have liked So It Goes a little more if it/the vibe was II or III in the suite instead of the closer

My only complaint so far is that Yesterday Lost doesnt flow into Goodbye, Sunshine as well as previous intro songs do on most their albums. Was kinda jarring with the first just ending and the next starting like a Spotify play list

On my first listen, on Corner My Confidence right now. The hook reminds me a lot of Halsey's Darling.

So far the only miss for me was Play the Poet. This has been such a fun listen. My body is ready for the suite!

Like a lot of this, but not quite hitting like Vaxis II did for me. I wish I was as high on Someone Who Can as some of you, that’s the one song I was actively turned off by on first listen lol. Other than that this is all really solid, the Continuum songs are awesome, and insanely impressive for a band on their 11th (!!) album.

I like this better than Vaxis 1 or 2, however those albums both have a few moments that are truly transcendent, that I think Vaxis 3 lacks. (the final bridge and chorus of The Gutter, and the ending of Window of the Waking Mind are insane) but thats a minor quibble of this album as it has some moments that are really spectacular.

We reach for the longest shadow

One Last Miracle > Corner My Confidence > Someone Who Can is catchy Coheed at it's best. Corner My Confidence is peak acoustic Coheed. We MIGHT be looking at Claudio's best vocal performance.

Continuum I-III is seriously unfair. Anthemic, epic without being longer songs.

just realized the piano intro to Tethered Together is Domino

This is the exact stretch of the album that loses me lol. I do like Corner My Confidence, but it’s sandwiched between the two most bleh songs on the album for me.

Catchy Coheed at its best is Liar’s Club, or Shoulders, or even Comatose. None of the poppier songs on this reach those highs for me, though Searching For Tomorrow is close.

Definitely just a "agree to disagree". I love all three tracks. That's what's great about Coheed though, something for everyone.

This is good and works better as a whole for me than the last one did. The callback to Pretelethal at the end is sick

Corner My Confidence into Someone Who Can is the definition of a song sounding better in the context of an album.
