I'm hoping record shops get the "indie exclusive LP" which is the coke bottle color. Standard is just a red/pink, so I'm fine either way honestly.

 

Had to grab the gatefold as I have vaxis 1 and 2, but oof $60

 

$60 for vinyl shipped. Bring back cds. I’m over this.

Ordered the "brain" variant. Very curious about that Side D.

 

Also went with the "brain" one. I can't not have this on vinyl since I have part 1 and 2.... right?

 

I went with the regular magenta one. Hopefully I'll actually get it. The last 3 times I preordered a record from their store, they cancelled it months later because they accepted more preorders than they had records in stock. Luckily, I found Vaxis II at a record shop a few towns over.

 

That’s really surprising, I haven’t had that issue. I assure you that you will be able to find the album in stores. I’ve always seen Vaxis 1 & 2 at every good record store that stocks a good selection of new releases, if the preorder fails.

 

Admittingly, I ordered one of the super exclusive variants of Vaxis 2 and they cancelled that pre-order. Unfortunately, by the time they cancelled it, there were no other versions left in stock so they gave me a store credit. I used the credit to get a keywork polo, then they cancelled that order when they found out they didn't have that size in stock. I'm starting to think I might just be super unlucky.

 

I’m no collector but isn’t the purpose of vinyl to.. have the vinyl? If you’re over it Spotify works fine

 

The standard is actually my favorite of all the variants. Solid colored, and it matches the cover art.

 

"The End Complete IV: The Road and the Damned" is an underrated track. Huge, epic, cinematic.

 

I'm not sure where exactly to find it these days, but one Christmas Coheed released the demo for it with Pennie drumming. It was a pretty cool listen.

 

oh interestingg I should seek that out, unless it's already in my iTunes library hah. Will check when I get home.....

For being my favorite band, this release date has snuck up on me a little bit.

 

same, and ngl I’m actually surprised it hasn’t leaked yet (not that I want it to). All of their past releases did weeks in advance

 

yeah I didn't even think I'd download a leak. I'm super pumped for Spiritbox next week, then this the next. I got enough things to listen to until I hit that stretch.

 

Yeah I dont seek out leaks anymore, I always have enough releases to keep up with the keep me placated until the release date comes
