Found this picture of mine from 8 years ago. I sold off everything but the deluxe edition. Kind of wish I had kept the orange and teal versions instead. Deluxe ones have crazy surface noise.

 

Unfortunately coheed loves long release windows. They do this for basically every album lol

 

Yeah I'm not sure why people are getting hung up on them doing a surprise drop. It's not gonna happen, they rely too much on building hype and generating sales of vinyl and deluxe editions (I literally bank on the fact that a new coheed release will mean me spending over 100 bucks on whatever the deluxe box entails) along with the small market tour to hit lesser played cities and try to acquire more listeners before launch

 

Nevermind.

 

the webstore has the album, but just the deluxe and digital download. I'm gonna be bummed if there isn't a vinyl option for preorder. It does confirm the 5/27 date though.

 

The only reason I wish I was rich is so I could by every Coheed deluxe edition.

Ordered. Same thing with Vaxis I, deluxe first, vinyl preorders came a little later.

 

This is me! But I am thankful I am back cause damn I slept on Afterman A&D, they slap.

If it follows UC rollout, there could be a big interview/single drop later today or very soon, and then vinyl will go up anytime within the next month probably

Pretty sure Vaxis is a sequel to the original albums isn't it? So unless time travel is involved, probably not.

 

Yeah "the great crash" referenced in The Dark Sentencer is what happened at the end of NWFT right? I will not pretend to understand anything about the concepts here though. I'm probably the biggest Coheed fan that really doesn't care at all about the concept. It's too convoluted for me to follow at this point.

 

That said, once Vaxis is done I wouldn't be opposed to Wilhelm Ryan origin story one-off record
