Shittier singer like... he’s a shitty performer or he’s a shitty person? Or both?

 

More the second. There was a big controversy about him literally kicking a woman off the stage who he thought stood up there too long. This was during a set where people were stagediving regularly.

 

Wow. Good to know going in. That’s terrible.

 

Also, apparently they finished production in March

 

They're really good at keeping things under wraps. Only speculation I can recall that they were doing anything at all was from someone recognizing the building in one of Josh's instagram videos as Applehead

 

This band is hands down the best band in the world .

 

Man.... Unheavenly Creatures would be top notch Coheed if that chorus wasn't so weak. The verses are SO GOOD and musically it kills, but the chorus doesn't really soar as much as I want. It's catchy but kinda like.... subdued

 

I actually feel the exact opposite. The verses feel like they're just going by while the chorus is doing all of the interesting stuff

It’s a similar caliber song to The Running Free in that I keep wondering why I don’t like it more

 

So excited for this - the last album got be back on the Coheed train and these new tracks are delish

 

get that advance and hype us up some more.

 

I wish this was available for preorder with just the cd or a cd/ shirt bundle. All I’ve seen is the meg expensive box set or digital

 

Yeah, I don't know where normal preorders are. The record still has a long time until release, but it does seem odd.

 

Probably waiting until it gets closer.
I know they just signed off on the vinyl a week or so ago.

So Claudio doesn't play guitar on Unheavenly Creatures live... guitar tech is playing it. I don't recall Coheed ever doing this before.

 

I haven't watched the video, but that screenshot alone looks so goddamn weird.

 

Really curious if Claudio just wants to sing without a guitar for some reason. He looks like he doesn't really know what to do with himself without a guitar.

 

They stopped playing this song on tour for a couple of shows and then brought it back with him not playing a guitar... My guess would be that the tessitura of this song strains his vocal chords a little more than the rest of the set. Sometimes taking the additional weight of a guitar off does wonders for your vocal chords.

 

seeing the show really reignited how much i love this band. listening through the discography and i forgot how great the hooks are

 

OH GOD THAT LOOKS SO WEIRD BUT IN A COOL WAY

 

Could not possibly be more excited for my show on Thursday. I know some people wanna complain the set is too greatest hitsy or whatever but this is the longest gap between Coheed shows for me since I saw them for the first time and I’m having withdrawals.

Also the light show has been sick as hell
