Neither of the Headliners on this tour haven't played venues above 1,500 cap in my state recently, and same with TSSF
Coheed and TBS both sold out a 2,000 cap venue the last time they played in my city but I still feel like these venues are to big.
What was all the stuff about TSSF singer being a douchebag? I thought people didn't like that band anymore. maybe I'm just out of the loop
Are you talking about specific instances of him being a douchebag? Or just general sentiment towards him?
I guess general. I thought I've read like multiple posts on here about him being a douche. Like I thought that band was on the outs because of all that. But I don't remember what the specific instances are
He's kept a lower profile recently AFAIK, but a lot of the recent hate stems from him kicking a girl in the back who was trying to take a selfie on-stage with the band. She fell off stage and was fine, but it's a shitty divisive thing coming from a band that historically has a bit of a misogynistic streak in their lyrics. Here's video of the incident: If I'm wrong in my interpretation of this, someone with more familiarity of bro pop-punk feel free to speak up.
Parker put on Instagram that the new album is done, maybe a spring/summer release. Who knows with them honestly
Looks like the lower level seats are nearly gone for the Tampa show, there's enough rabid Coheed fans out there to fill those seats. Upper and lawn will for sure hit Groupon.
Pit tix for Chicago are 82 bucks after fees lol. That pit is pretty damn huge so I'm gonna wait and see if it ends up on Groupon a la Deftones/Rise Against
Pit tickets for Jacksonville actually come out to $100. Which is ridiculous considering I paid like $25 for the TBS after show for Riot Fest.
Good looking out! I've been to Northerly Island 3 times and they've never once enforced sections at all. So Groupn, here I come!
Yeah, that's a good point. I'm not totally sure if I can make the show yet, but I'm tempted to buy a ticket now just because the price is good. EDIT: I caved and bought one.
