That was also really fucking cathartic watching it and communicating with y'all tonight - CODE ORANGE FOREVER
That was the best show I've been to in a while and I didn't even leave my bed. Code Orange are what this world needs.
I think ETID is going to compete, completely different itches though I hate when people say all screaming sounds the same, bunch of deaf peeps (I’m hearing impaired lol)
Also on the MetalSucks podcast Jami said they talked with The Haxan Cloak about working on the record but couldn’t make it work. That would have been crazy
If ETID match this, then I can't fucking wait. As it is, I think all the incredible heavy bands releasing music this year are probably fighting for second place already. That's how good I think this is. I can't remember being convinced this early on that an album was a classic. That was amazing. Ended perfectly too. What a band. Live streaming gigs online is nothing new. But to do it that well, make it sound that good, and have the video production and everything look that cool, all on very little time - that's something special. 12k people on for most of the show. I'm not forgetting this in a hurry.
That was so fucking sick. They are relentless and at the top of their game I think the LA show won’t be until October since it’s in between Coachella, but I cannot wait for it
my favorite vrenna anecdote is that he physically couldn't keep up with the speed of the programming trent reznor set for the drums for the perfect drug despite not playing analog drums lol
We still have ETID, Converge, Vein, potentially Power Trip and Jesus Piece, all coming this year. Insane year for hard shit.
