After listening 4-5 times, I think this is close to their best track.

Yeah this is really, really cool.

 

Love how raw the vocals sound, which is odd because the production on this feels miles ahead of everything else I've heard from this album thus far.

 

Mirror is so cool

 

Kind of wild how I don't really vibe with any of this so far. I think I'll wait until the full album comes out.

 

Take shape is really stupid but also fun

 

I think it's alright until the absolutely awful Billy Corgan feature.

 

He’s a transphobe but I think it’s an interesting feature

my dislike of take shape has nothing to do with billy corgan, although its not like his part is good or anything. i think the entire song is just an imitation of their most obvious influences and it bores me

 

on the flip side i think mirror takes a handful of obvious influences and does something really interesting with them

I’m cautiously optimistic for this album. I think I trust the group to incorporate different genres and added melody to the recipe without ruining the overall flavor. Guess we’ll see.

 

i liked the last one a lot when it came out but i don’t think i’ve listened since the month it came out

 

I played Underneath an unhealthy amount in 2020

 

Underneath took over my life especially since it dropped right when Covid hit lol
