I’m just saying I don’t think she got the call and thought “nice money” but instead was like “omg he’s a legend,” just speculation but CO are a bunch of edge lords anyway so I don’t think I’m off base
didn't their last headliner get canceled basically as it was starting? seems pretty logical to replace a huge tour's paycheck with another lol.
Yeah one of the other guitarists had health issues so they had to cancel I’ve gotten the sense from their recent social media posts that their most recent festival dates would be their last, at least for awhile. Wonder if this gig played into that decision at all. Very lame.
They can fuck off if they're honestly okay with one of their members touring with an abusive woman beater. Sure, the paycheque is nice, but not convinced it couldn't have come without attachment to Brian fucking Warner. Wonder if they'll actually say something.
it’s not even just beating women (as bad as that is) it’s locking them in a confined space for days at a time, drugging them without their knowledge and raping them, mentally abusing them, just awful awful awful stuff. Like legit psychopath behavior.
I had no idea about those specifics but this absolutely tracks. Yeah fuck Reba and fuck this band if they're standing behind her.
I don't think it's terrible but it's not very good either. The three track run of Mirror—A Drone—I Fly is the weirdest sequencing choice, the feeling of each song being choked by the incongruous song beside. And moments like the clean part on Theatre of Cruelty, clearly aping Billy Corgan/Chino without the slippery melodic osmosis of either, really drag it down.
Would any of you care to hear Reba’s take on this , since ya know, she’s , also a woman? Just a thought
her working with Marilyn Manson and her personal feelings of him don't absolve him of the shit he did
