i feel like they're making those transitions intentionally jarring. like, as part of the "aesthetic" or whatever.

 

if they move away from the 90s metallic hardcore mosh riffs and into more of this industrial/grunge fusion type stuff that we saw with this track and bleeding in the blur, i'd be much more excited for the new stuff. who knows? maybe they'll end up being the heir apparent to nine inch nails and ministry after more new tunes.

 

Yea I took them as being intentional, and I mean yea sure it won't work for everyone and that doesn't automatically make it free from criticism. But I still fuck with the song, I think it's really cool.
