As someone who's gone through a bad jaw break, this is excruciatingly painful. Hoping for a quick and complete recovery.
I'm glad the band posted about this, but it's up to bands to police this sort of behavior at shows. The genre draws some of the worst humans to shows, but Code Orange shows are notoriously dangerous and shitty. I like the band, and I go to plenty of rowdy shows, but I'd never go to one of their headliners.
I'm not knowledgeable enough about them to know their track record with safety, but I hope they publicly come out and say more than that tweet - because although it isn't their fault some guy was a violent idiot and wore steel-toed boots (unless they had encouraged it in the past, or failed to discourage it when its happened before), now that he has, they really need to take a stand and call-it-out as unacceptable at their shows.
