Haha, maybe I was just in a rotten mood or something, but about half way through I turned to Hannah and was like, "uh is this as bad as it seems?" and she was like "yep, this is really bad." I really didn't like that movie. It's the only one I can say that about, I like and re-watch almost all the other ones.
That's so unfortunate. I basically feel that exact same way about Cars 2 (which I sat through all the way in the theater) so I really was hoping that it would be an improvement! But that whole franchise is basically mediocre at best when compared to their other work so I guess I'm not really surprised.
this movie means so much to me but also I might have recent bias. It's like the first movie I actually went to go buy as soon as it came out.
I finally saw this movie after months of wanting to see it and never having the chance to. They got me when Coco began singing. So then I popped in here and watched this adorable video and...yeah, I don’t know, representation matters. I’m emotional right now but this is just...gosh.
I thought this was pretty good, but it's far from my favorite Pixar film. The animation though, my god.
Watching this shortly after losing my grandmother to Alzheimer's left me a blubbering mess. Beautiful movie though.
I've seen this like a dozen times now, had not watched it in a few months until today. It's easily my Pixar number 2. Its perfect Pixar
rewatched this and i think i love it more than ever. miguel singing to nana coco is chiefly among the best pixar moments ever. i'm now seeing why so many have this as one of their absolute favorites
