There’s so much payoff in the final two episodes and even what might not feel fully earned definitely still feels true to the show. I did not expect to love the ending as much as I do
In episode 13, when the tournament resumes in the Valley, we're told its three teams remaining in the tournament, but it looks like all the teams from Barcelona have showed up. Are there other fights taking place that they didn't tell us about, shown off camera? Haha
They did this show and final season justice with Part 3. So good. Awesome show. Glad it got the success it did.
Yeah this show ended perfectly Wonder if the film coming out will tie into the series directly, or if it'll be a separate universe
It was mentioned in an interview that Karate Kid Legends is set in the same universe as Cobra Kai and timeline wise it's set 2 years later after the events of the final season
I really hope Zabka gets some awards recognition for this performance in the final season and hopefully gets more offers to star in movies on the big screen
Yeah...His scene at the graveyard visiting his mom and the scene when he confronts Kreese were top notch. I've always felt Cobra Kai was more about Johnny's story arch than LaRusso's, so this final season was pretty awesome for that reason alone.
Wow, I'm finally catching up on the final season. And I loved the dramatic ending of Tory showing up at the Sekai Takai with Kreese.
I just finished the final season. Loved the final scene and overall am pretty happy with how it ended. It was always dumb and corny and sort of just got dumber and cornier. There obviously were a few things towards the end that were just completely outlandish but whatever (not the first time). Funny the thread was just bumped as I literally just knocked out the final episode a few hours ago. Not long till the movie set in this extended universe.
Omg I laughed so hard when the brawl started in episode 10. I should've seen that coming. And we got another priceless "Why does this keep happening" from Mrs. LaRusso. But wow, that took a dark turn.
Finished the show. Super satisfying ending. My top moment though was definitely that Cobra Kai walk in with Thunderstruck. Badass.
Did this actress have a significant role in the series? I’ve never heard of her before 'Cobra Kai' star Courtney Henggeler quits acting after 20 years in the business: 'We survived off the crumbs'
as a kid I loved Daniel Son. By the end of the Cobra Kai show I found him to be so annoying lol. Miyagi Do can kick rocks. Long live Johnny and Cobra Kai baby.
It's a shame shes retiring from acting but reading that statement.. I mean after years and years of bit parts, failed pliots and recurring roles to finally being series regular on Cobra Kai for 6 seasons.. I assume she didn't want to go through the grind of going through auditions again and I don't blame her to be honest, I remember in an interview years ago she said she almost retired from acting until she got cast in Cobra Kai, I mean if she's happy to step away and spend more time with her family then good for her.
I’m only a few years late but after seeing the new Karate Kid in theaters I decided to finally watch this and I’m so glad I did. Maybe in my top 5 TV shows of all time now? It just hit me in all the right ways. Love all the characters, especially Johnny. Thought everything wrapped up really well too.
Yeah I don’t make good choices/had to work overnight in my hotel to cover for someone. Watched about a season per night. Until the end where I staggered a bit.
