it's not real, its all in my brain. my food list is: - do i have a quick break? - am i hungry? - what can i see with my eyes? - looks good. i'll eat it.
Haha I totally getcha. I think what I have found in the past though is when I get too excited and plan the food, I will inevitably just not be able to get it all done and that creates more stress than needed. Music is the #1 priority and I'm going to see as many sets as possible, eating is just going to have to be snuck in between sets
Not going this year, but...Coachella related. In 2016, during a fateful visit to the famous Bloody Mary bar at The Starboard in Dewey Beach, I absolutely ruined my white Coachella 2015 tanktop (my favorite Chella) with stains. Just destroyed. It sat in a drawer for 7 years unwearable but I'm happy to report she's back to life via a gnarly tie dye:
oh that’s why I’m keeping a small list of food to try just so I don’t have to stress lol. I’m even having Mikey send me some merch pics from weekend 1 just so I can plan out merch I wanna get also.
my only food tradition is that on Sunday after the headliner (or whoever I see last), I get an Afters ice cream donut sandwich to have on the way out
they've got locations all over SoCal now, but having it to cap off the weekend is honestly such a perfect feeling
It's so depressing how glad I am that they person responsible for one of my all time favorite Coachella sets is no longer in the lineup
Honestly, every time I look at the lineup I have a "oh shit, I forgot they are playing" moment. Probably because half the lineup was announced like, 3 years ago
Not saying it's even in the realm of possibility of happening, but it would be hilarious if Taylor Swift headlined Kanye's night just playing an acoustic guitar/piano. He'd be so mad.
If you've ever been to Coachella you'd know that this would be an awful idea. Taylor is more than qualified to headline, but any type of "quiet" set at Coachella usually is ruined by talkers and bass from the other stages. I'm skipping Phoebe for that reason alone, and already saw her at a headline show. I'd pay attention the some of the acts who just finished up the South American Lolla's...they already have a production and set ready to go. I'd say there's decent odds Miley or The Strokes are added.
