MCR removed the catty comment on their merch site about the face masks and how they’ll never play “that show in the desert now”… The rumors of Kanye and MCR joining the lineup start to make sense now. Have a feeling MCR, if they play, will be teamed up with Swedish House Mafia as co-headliners on the main stage.
They were booked as a headliner for 2020 and were asked to take a sub-headliner spot once GV was able to lock in Rage. MCR refused to take a sub-headline spot so Coachella left them keep their headliner fee and just removed them from the lineup entirely.
I would love MCR to headline. It'll jump start the reunion roll out earlier instead of waiting for the Fall tour.
Rumor was GV didn't want to burn bridges with MCR (GV was also promoting the Shrine comeback show) so they agreed to pay them their fee even though they were being replaced on the lineup.
Jessie Ware is in, just annoucned she's recording her podcast at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery the week between W1 and W2. I'd say she's a lock.

Every year I tell myself Im gonna go to Coachella, and never do. But Taylor headlining might REALLY get me off my ass and cross country.
