LCD Soundsystem. Loved seeing them perform one of my favorite Bowie songs. Chvrches is the next I'm really interested in in the livestream, followed by Silversun Pickups, and then Rancid and Meg Myers tomorrow. Unfortunately Wolf Alice's set tomorrow won't be streamed :(

 

Going to begin my evening with Chvrches and probably watch for like 5 hours

Any word on who the "surprise performance" is?

 

I'm so upset about Wolf Alice. They posted on their twitter today that it would be streamed, but it's never been on the webcast schedule though. Maybe they just thought it would be?

 

Kanye would be ideal haha

 

Yeah his performance a few years ago was insane. Everyone on ap watching all at once is a memory I love

 

LCD were solid last night. That cover was magical! I'm still so shocked Wolf Alice isn't getting streamed.

 

Definitely one of my favorite moments as well.

I liked his coachella set a few years ago, but I'm kinda in the same boat. I can take it or leave it.

 

Yeah :(. At least Meg Myers, Silversun, and Chvrches are though

 

I heard during his surprise "performance" last night he just stood there while one of his songs played. Sounds about right hahaha.

I'm really not much of a hip-hop guy anyway though aside from 80s stuff like Public Enemy, Run DMC, and Beastie Boys. Just really isn't my cup of tea.

 

Yeah, he came out with A$AP for a song and his mic wasn't turned on, so you couldn't hear anything but the crowd. Came out again with Jack U but he just stood there and watched, lol. Hoping the special performance tonight is something better.

EDIT: Zhu is going on 10 minutes earlier tonight and said on twitter that he has a surprise. Should be interesting.

 

Courtney Barnett never really clicked for me before, but I'm liking this set. Maybe I need to revisit her stuff.

 

Hopefully it's just a mistake hahaha They are performing right after Meg Myers and I would love to watch them back to back.

 

Do we have a CHVRCHES thread on here? This set is going to make me want to see them again.

 

I love Chvrches, but her vocals are pretty spotty right now. Hope she gets more comfortable and settles in

 

This song is sounding better. Hopefully it was just nerves or a tech issue.

 

Apparently the special performance tonight is a shortened showing of Guns and Roses. Pretty underwhelming, just realized they aren't streaming them as a listed act though. What kind of legal garbage must be happening for a headliner to not get streamed?

 

Spotty vocals or no I could watch her in her space queen makeup rocking out and playing tom fills for a whole weekend

 

I'm just glad Lauren seems more comfortable taking command of the stage.

 

It's insane how much better her stage presence is compared to their first tours. She's a star up there now.

 

She is very charming/funny banter-wise

 

I'm in love. She is slaying this.

 

She's really settled into a sweet spot vocally too, thankfully

 

Ugh, I want to see them again. They're so good.
