This years lineup didnt do much for me, so I'm not surprised to see very few conflicts for my taste. Toughest ones would be:

Guns n Roses vs. Grimes
Chvrches vs. Courntey Barnett
Alessia Cara vs. Anderson Paak

Also seeing Ice Cube not only on the main stage, but also the sub headliner, makes me certain that he's gonna be bringing out Dr Dre.

EDIT: Ah found another conflict - Disclosure vs. Vince Staples.

 

Grimes and Purity Ring late night are going to be so fun. So weird that Vince Staples is in Sahara. Anderson vs Alessia is my big conflict too, I think it's gonna be Alessia though, it's my girlfriend's #1 for the weekend

What So Not are doing a surprise set tomorrow with special guests

 

Skepta and Sasha both had to cancel. Skepta because he couldn't get his work visa approved, Sasha is sick it seems

 

The way they have the live stream set up this time is awesome

 

LUSH had to drop out of weekend 1 as well, due to visa problems

 

I had zero clue DeLong was this multi-talented

Robert Delong is so so good. Loving this Youtube stream. Is anyone else watching it?

 

I missed him a few years back when he played, which makes me even more into checking him out this year

 

enjoying the music of the duo Bob Moses. not so much the vocals.

 

Damnit I woke up from a nap and missed Robert. But ended up seeing a little bit of HEALTH, kinda wish I didn't pass them up when I had the chance to see them live

 

Their album is worth a listen for sure, this song is a mega-jam

 

yeah it's very much "me" music, i am looking at what's on their spotify and will listen after they're done.

 

Cool deal! The album is definitely somewhere between like... chill night time music and electronic music, definitely a band I'll keep an eye on in the future. Hopefully checking out their set as well

 

What do you guys think about Miami Horror? I'm a big fan (Seeing them this summer) but the vocals seem like something isn't right here.

Everyone should watch Christine and the Queens on channel 3 in 20 minutes. She is my absolute favorite discovery of the past year.
