I’m generally torn the Geese and Yousuke Yukimatsu at the exact same time too. im watching Yukimatsu on the stream and he’s killing it.
It’s been super easy to rewind and rewatch so far this year. I’ve had trouble with that sometimes in years past tho
I was thinking of going Giveon into Nine Inch Noize but now I’m thinking of just chilling at Mojave and watching Taemin and then moving over to get a good spot eventually.
I don’t know how I feel about that Justin Bieber set cause ya he played the good songs I liked from the SWAG stuff but man that whole YouTube section is just meh especially if it’s with songs I really love.
Bieber sounded great, the YouTube career retrospective thing is kind of neat for an artist with his history and origin story The discourse around this style of performance being less worthwhile than a super high production value stage show with all the builds and whatnot is pretty pointless, like would it really make any sense for Bieber to perform the stuff off Swag with choreo and set pieces and all the bells and whistles? Feels very intentional he’s doing this type of show at this point in his career
I’m gonna need to find those NIN and Bieber sets. I did catch The Strokes stream and they sounded great but mannn I don’t remember Julian’s banter being so bizarre haha
And also he was fully engaged with the audience during it, so it didn't feel like a cop out type of show
