Saturday looks the best to me solely because Friday and Sunday schedule conflicts may drive me insane I say this and somehow all of Saturday will overlap too
Just turned 30 and out of touch! O man I hate to think what that means for me as an over 40 year old...if you're into pop music I could see why you might not see much of a draw (though I admit I know nothing about pop music)....there s big names from the indie rock scene from the early 00's....the xx, interpol, the strokes, foster the people...then you got the "oldies" from the 80s-90s like David Byrne, NIN (DJ set), DEVO, Moby..... I am sure there is more Justin Bieber-like music on the lineup that someone on this board can guide you to though haha
Wow I'm really impressed with this lineup. Although Friday is way too stacked compared to the other days. Friday: Sabrina, NINE INCH NOIZE(!), The xx, Disclosure, Turnstile, Devo, Foster the People, Blood Orange, Moby, Lykke Li, Hot Mulligan, fleshwater Saturday: Justin Bieber, The Strokes, David Byrne, Interpol, Boys Noize, Ecca Vandal Sunday: Iggy Pop, FKA Twigs, Wet Leg, Clipse, Little Simz, Black Flag, Drain
Out of touch may not be the right terminology here lol (aside from not knowing a Karol G song). For reference, while I didn’t go last year, I’d have been interested in seeing (in order of lineup day and listing) Missy Elliott, Benson Boone, The Go Go’s, Three Six Mafia, T-Pain, Jimmy Eat World, Zedd, Ty Dolla $ign, BigXthaPlug, heck I’d have even seen Travis Scott if I were there. not sure what it says about me, but while I feel like I listen to a lot of different music, Coachella always seems to miss my interests more than any other festival. This is, however, the first year there isn’t a single undercard I’d actually pay money to see. who knows. Everyone seems to love it so maybe I just need to do a deep dive on the lineup and listen to a few songs by every artist.
Feel like Coachella still struggles with trying to stay "relevant" and forgets that it needs to fill its fields with 50k people each day. Last year I don't think even sold out but I think with Sabrina and Karol G up top, this should have no problem.
At this point in my life I am likely not attending any more music fests due to where my finances are dictated (outside of the lineups not lining up with my own interests)....but I will say one of my favorite parts of festival lineup season are listening to the artists I have never heard of in hopes of finding something new or something old that I've missed for years
My personal list so far, still a ton I need to check out/have heard a lot of hype around but yeah Very likely will not go but keeping my eye on it in case things line up okay for me when April comes around
love this. I used to be that way (Warped, Lolla, Riot Fest, etc. as a teenager) but in recent years I’ve very much been “do I like the lineup as it stands?”. Perhaps I need to buck the trend as the former is certainly more fun.
I was out for 2026 but I absolutely cannot miss the chance to see the full Nine Inch Nails/Boys Noize collab set…doesn’t hurt that they’ll be conflicting with Sabrina who I have zero interest in. Bieber sucks but whatever The Strokes will prob be counterprogrammimg on the Outdoor, so excited for their return to the desert. The electronic here is always on another level…Groove fucking Armada…Royksopp…Solomun…Moby…continually turning out intelligent electronic music that rarely gets booked at US fests. So excited to see Karol G headline on Sunday, perfect set to end the weekend. btw round trip Toronto to PS is under $300 on WestJet for W2 right now.
Seeing rumors that Bob Bakers Marionettes might be a full performance of the Dracula musical from Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Friday: Sabrina Carpenter, The xx, NIN, Turnstile, Ethel Cain, Dijon, Blood Orange, Lykke Li, Slayyyter, Fleshwater, Wednesday, NewDad Saturday: Justin Bieber (if only just for Daises lol), The Strokes, Addison Rae, David Byrne, Alex G, PinkPantheress, Boys Noize, Ceremony Sunday: FKA twigs, Wet Leg, Clipse, Little Simz, Oklou, DRAIN
On first glance… Fri the xx, nine inch noize, disclosure, turnstile, devo, moby, groove armada, cmat, slayyyter, fleshwater, chloe caillet x rossi Sat anyma, the strokes, addison rae, sombr, interpol, solomun, royel otis, rezz, adriatique, boys noize, geese, zulan, bedouin, ben sterling, lambrini girls, mind enterprises Sun karol g, kaskade, iggy pop, fka twigs, wet leg, duke dumont, the rapture, bunt, french police, royksopp, model/actriz, cobrah, azzecca Saturday and Sunday are missing 15+ acts compared to last year…are they planning on giving JB and Karol standalone sets? Someone did a mock set times using last years format on clashfinder and it’s shocking how bare it is on Sat and Sun. Coachella 2026 Line-Up :: Clashfinder
Weekend 2 passes secured and I’m in again for bothchella ranked list of acts I’m excited for pre-research Friday: The xx, Nine Inch Noize, Turnstile, Joyce Manor, Foster the People, Sabrina Carpenter, CMAT, Slayyyter, Ethel Cain, Blood Orange, KATSEYE, Wednesday Saturday: The Strokes, David Byrne, Justin Bieber, Addison Rae, Interpol, PinkPantheress Sunday: FKA Twigs, Laufey, Wet Leg, Clipse, Oklou, Little Simz, Samia, Model/Actriz, Holly Humberstone
looks like W2 GA is gone now too. between welcoming indie/rock back to the desert and bieber being a massive draw they did a good job booking this year.
Journey, Pitbull, Luda, Third Eye Blind, Bush, Wallflowers, Billy Bob Thornton, Counting Crows... What is Stagecoach anymore anyway
