I've been checking out and reading about Coachella weekend 3 (stagecoach) and I find it to be pretty interesting this year. A ton of artists who are more crossover or straight up Coachella bands (Mumford & Sons, Lana De Rey, Diplo, T-Pain did all 3 weekends, Sofi Tukker, Nelly, Backsteet Boys, Shaboozey did all 3 weekends). A fair amount of guest artists of all genres (I don't care for Jelly Roll, but he stacked his guest list to a level that Coachella artists do). Kesha, Tori Kelly, machine gun kelly... it's just interesting to see how Stagecoach has evolved over the years
the crowd is still 75% Orange County conservatives who are out at their La Quinta homes that weekend. its become the premiere county event but the crowd is trash.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see production value start to improve for country artists too. It seems like stagecoach has become the one celebrities like to go to.
T Pain, Wiz Khalifa, bigxthaplug, Ty dolla sign and too short all did 3 weeks of golden voice events which is crazy. rap really trying to force its way into this fest it seems.
On another note, I've been watching Zach Bryan's set today and he puts on such a killer show, absolutely would have worked at Coachella too. I watched Mumford and Lana, gonna see how different the T-pain and Shaboozey sets are, gonna watch Dasha, might check out some Nelly to see how much Country Grammar he does. Curious to see Sofi Rukker as well but that probably covers it for Weekend 3 for me. I would have actually preferred Friday of Stagecoach to Friday of Coachella by a longshot
Very interesting, for 2026 it's $50 cheaper to get a Weekend 2 ticket. Kinda a smart move to try and even out attendance a bit more
I can tell you guys don’t live in the same area of the country as me (which I already knew of course) from the simple fact neither of you led with “he brought out Garth Brooks for a Friends in Low Places cover.”
According to Mike G at UTA, Coachella offered Latin musician Rauw Alejandro a spot on the lineup for 2026 (not as a headliner) but he has declined unless he is booked as a headliner. UTA Agent Mike G on Rauw Alejandro Tour, Cardi B and Key to Success
Rauw is not even in the same tier as bad bunny when he headlined and his popularity is slowly dipping take that sub king
That would be a yucky trio overall, but my Coachella days have been long gone anyway. I did see Chance the Rapper bring out Biebs early in the day in 2014
